Exciting Opportunity Supporting Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO!

Join our team as an Windows Systems Administrator professional, where you will play a critical role in supporting the Lockheed Martin Space business area located in Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our mission-critical programs within the Space business area. As an IT professional, you will have the opportunity to ensure that Lockheed Martin's IT systems are managed, controlled, and compliant with the Corporate Information Protection Manuals (CIPM). As a Windows System Admin, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting edge LM Space Security programs while also having the opportunity to start up IT programs from the ground up.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Littleton, CO, working a flexible "4x10" schedule, which includes every Friday off!. This is an onsite position, providing you with a unique opportunity to collaborate with our talented team, build long-lasting relationships, and make a significant impact on our Space division's success.

What You Will Be Doing
Join our team in an impactful role where your day-to-day responsibilities include upgrades, operations, and maintenance, as well as hardware and software installations, domain accounts, and password management. This position offers a wealth of opportunities to utilize your system administration and architecture skills while providing primary IT support for several classified environments.

As a key member of our team, you will:
• Install and configure Windows operating systems and software applications
• Perform periodic audits of system security settings, ensuring the highest level of protection
• Keep our systems secure and up-to-date by installing operating system security patches and firmware updates
• Manage security groups, coordinating access and permissions for optimal system performance
• Schedule and monitor data backups, maintaining data integrity and availability
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, ensuring minimal disruptions for our users
• Streamline system administrative tasks with custom scripts, enhancing productivity and efficiency

As a Windows System Administrator services include; installation, integration and configuration of Windows, VMWare, and Hyper-V servers, as well as the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Instructions (SOI's) in support of several programs. This includes upgrades, operations and maintenance, hardware/software installations, backups and service requests in the support of program area IT environments.

Basic Qualifications:
• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI and pass a CI Polygraph in the future.
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain a Security+ certification or better within the first 60 days of employment
• Direct work with Operating Systems life cycle management and configuration management (i.e., Installation/Upgrades, System Imaging, Account Management, Print Services, integration with Domain Services, Hardware Modernization, Performance Monitoring, etc.)
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange Server management
• Experience customizing and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux Common Operating Environment (COE) to meet various customer requirements (DISA STIGs, DCID 6/3, NNSA regulations, etc.)
• Working knowledge of storage solutions (HPE Nimble, synology, NetApp, etc)
• Wide range of knowledge across IT disciplines including software, hardware, network engineering
• Experience using VMWare or Hyper-V tools for virtualization
• Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Many issues are non-standard and require involved research and investigation work
Desired Skills:
• Understanding of High-Performance Computing (HPC) solutions
• Experience with Trusted Multi-Level Security (MLS) Operating Systems
• Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Certificate Authorities (CAs) and Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs)
• Knowledge of configuration management systems
• Specific experience using RHEL7/8+ with SELinux enabled
• Experience with System Engineering/Architecture/Administration in a large and distributed environment
• Network Configuration, particularly on Linux Hosts and Cisco & Juniper routers/firewalls
• Experience in refactoring, rebuild, or redesign required during cloud migration activities
• Recognized cloud certification (AWS CSA/Developer/DevOps Engineer, CompTIA Cloud+, CCSK or others)
• Experience with Domain Capable Windows/Linux/Virtualization
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile teams leveraging Scrum, Kanban or other methodologies and/or understanding of agile development concepts
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
