The Orion Transition to Production will align the entire management of the Production Centers with the Production Control POD managers. We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (ME)/System Integration Test Engineer POC to manage all work in conjunction with the OPOC Operations team to execute the hardware acquisition.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will support a POD Manager, will work with the LM Production Center Manufacturing operations teams to develop and manage a manufacturing execution plan to meet OPOC technical requirements, schedule and cost objectives, and mitigate risks.
• You will ensure coordination with the IPL Make/Buy Baseline, Program Integrated Master Schedule, ATLO/Manufacturing detailed schedules, EBOM/MBOM Alignment and SAP requirements (data integrity).

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 5 years of related experience is required, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experienced in the review and interpretation of assembly level engineering drawings and as floor support/liaison support.
• Must have technical experience and understanding with Mechanical, Composite, or Mechanism assemblies, experience with system level integration of these products, and associated requirements, and operational durations.
• Experience with coordinating system integration to bring in multiple components and subsystems from numerous supplies and integrate define plan to integrate and test based of existing engineering and test documentation and procedures.
• Experience and understanding of with configuration management practices and databases such as Windchill, EPDM, or similar.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret various technical procedures and reports. Ability to write reports and keep accurate documentation.
Desired Skills:
• Hands on experience demonstrating use of CAMS/SAP or similar supporting or generating manufacturing work instructions, routings, product structure, and manufacturing bill of materials(EBOM/MBOM).
• Special tooling and handling knowledge.
• Make or buy assessment background.
• Design for Manufacture and Assembly/Producibility experience & skillset.
• Team oriented attitude and developed interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform requirements analysis working within a major assembly team.
• Solid communication skills & demonstrated ability to drive process compliance.
• Knowledgeable of PP&C/MRP transactions in SAP system.
