Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO has an excellent System Integration & Test Engineering Asc Mgr opportunity within the Special Programs organization. Special Programs has an excellent track record of stable programs with highly evolving technical requirements that drives subcontract changes on a regular basis. Special Programs has developed a significant number of future leaders with a wide variety of engagement programs and challenging work to develop individual potential.

This position is a member of the Special Programs team supporting the Assembly, Test and Operations (ATLO) team.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Provide day-to-day oversight of the Assembly, Test, Launch Operations (ATLO) Mechanical OPs team to ensure schedule commitments, cost commitments, and performance objectives are met.
• Supervise the Mechanical Ops team and ensure readiness of all ground support equipment, test procedures, assembly and integration products in order to support Program integration/test schedules and objectives.
• Lead the Mechanical Ops team in raising and resolving issues through interactions with the programs, other ATLO teams, and senior program leadership.

• Typically has 8 or more years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience in Test Plan development and spacecraft operations and test.
• Experience with maintaining process discipline in a dynamic and fast paced environment is a must including the ability to balance various risks across the system to maintain cost within a fixed schedule environment.
• Experience in communicating and briefing senior-level program and customer management.
• Current TS/SCI Clearance.
Desired Skills:
• 8+ years of applicable technical experience.
• Direct hands on experience with leading ATLO Assembly/Test efforts
• Breadth of knowledge and work experience implementing ATLO best practices and lessons learned.
• Considered a Subject Matter Expert with products used for Integration/Test
• Successfully demonstrated completing tasks and delivering products on time and within budget
• Possess strong, demonstrated leadership and the ability to work with personnel from diverse backgrounds and disciplines both internal and external to the organization.
• Possess leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives.
