It is our mission to deliver affordable supply chain solutions that meet all program requirements and manage supply chain risks to ensure positive supplier performance through all phases of the program life-cycle from capture to sustainment.

What does this role look like?

This position is for a Subcontract Management professional responsible for managing the processes used in supply chain execution for Special Programs in Denver. This individual will ensure subcontract management processes are sufficient and compliant to support a volume of contracts over the entire life-cycle of multiple programs. The contracts are of varying complexity level from Fixed Price to Cost Plus Award Fee and/or Incentive Fee(s) contract types. In addition, this individual will be responsible for supporting Lockheed Martin prime proposal activity ensuring that suppliers submit fully compliant proposals, and Subcontract documents are produced timely to prime proposal needs. This individual will also be responsible for cost analysis artifacts in support of prime proposal needs.

This role will offer you the following daily challenges:

• Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification, and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD, and international programs.
• Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within the established authority.
• Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production, and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.
• Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards, and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

This position is in one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado.
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Experience with Cost Plus government contracting
• Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management.
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and possess and maintain a US DoD Top SECRET / SCI clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
To be successful, ideally, you should also have:

• Overall knowledge of Competitive Source Selection process
• Supply Chain Management Capture Experience or Expertise
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Extensive experience Cost Analysis
• Procure to Pay (P2P) experience
• Capable of planning, coordinating, and directing Lockheed Martin Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) activities ensuring strict compliance with federal regulations, public laws, and corporate policy, including LMAP (Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures).
• Must have knowledge and experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and be able to interface on a routine basis with the program office, Finance and Business Operations and technical personnel.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and requires strong capabilities to multi-task and lead the team under schedule and cost pressures in order to meet both internal and external customer objectives.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with reviewing procurement packages and excellent negotiation skills.
