Description:The Talent Center (TC) Lead plays a critical role in aligning workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational capability-building within the guidelines of the strategic growth objectives of the Space Strategy and Business Development (S&BD) organization. The Space S&BD TC is at the forefront of streamlining talent resources, giving each employee a clear view of the skills and competencies needed to plan and accelerate their growth, and equipping leaders with tools that hold consistent job requirement language and actionable analytics to help with data driven talent decisions.
The Talent Center (TC) Lead serves as a champion of the Space & Business Development (S&BD) Talent Center model, stewarding the frameworks that attract, retain, and accelerate high potential talent. The position operates in a fast moving, high visibility environment where each day brings new challenges and opportunities to partner with senior leaders across the organization and drive strategic talent development projects. This is a unique hybrid telework opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver mission‑critical content: Produce and distribute high‑impact materials that showcase TC progress and outcomes, such as monthly newsletters, executive briefings, demos, surveys, and other stakeholder‑focused deliverables
• Maintain the Talent Center (TC) brand and messaging: Continuously refresh all communication assets to ensure alignment with the evolving vision and strategy
• Drive stakeholder advocacy and adoption: Lead product demonstrations and presentations for senior leaders, business partners, and end‑users to secure buy‑in and promote usage of the TC website and Talent Hub
• Manage end‑to‑end project execution: Organize and facilitate subject‑matter‑expert workshops, schedule and coordinate meetings, distribute pre‑work, generate, assign, and follow up on action items, and track milestones to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
• Partner with leadership across all levels: Collaborate stakeholder to collect, verify, and integrate team-specific data that populates TC tools and analytics, ensuring the platform delivers accurate, actionable insights
• Oversee TC website operations and expansion: Lead the website development lifecycle—from concept ideation and design collaboration to functional specifications and feature rollout—while managing the development team, maintaining the action‑item tracker, and prioritizing the project pipeline
• Shape the future vision of TC: Partner with the TC team to synthesize stakeholder feedback, identify emerging needs, and upkeep a strategic roadmap that guides the evolution of the Talent Center
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience leading the planning and execution of complex projects
• Experience leading multi-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on time delivery through coordination of tasks, resourcing, metrics tracking, and stakeholder communications
• Self-motivated to work independently and with teams, to take initiative within the bounds of mission requirements and resources
• Demonstrated ability to independently drive tasks to closure and facilitate shaping activities with resourceful solutions to problems
• Able to manage multiple simultaneous deliverables in a fast-paced, high growth environment with fluctuating priorities and minimal guidance
• Persuasive and articulate communication style to establish and maintain rapport with internal stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to form and maintain successful customer relationships
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver briefs to executives and customers with appropriate level of messaging
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
•Technical project management capabilities
Desired Skills:
• Industry-applicable B.S. or B.A. degree required; MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• Strong business acumen and a depth of understanding of the skills needed to support S&BD Job Disciplines
• Demonstrated experience proactively developing and maintaining effective relationships and partnerships with colleagues and senior executives across functions, programs, and business areas
• 4+ years of experience leading the planning and execution of complex projects
•Web development experience (WordPress development, Custom front‑end coding: HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript (ES6+), web animation implementation (CSS/JS‑based)
•Experience with tools such as Advanced M365 (Teams integration, SharePoint online), PowerBI, PowerApps

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
