Lockheed Martin is looking for an experienced RF Engineer to be the responsible engineer for ESA subarrays as a Certified Principle Engineer (CPE) within the Electronically Steerable Array (ESA) portfolio. As part of the RF Center of Excellence, you will be transitioning IRAD development to associated new business pursuits. This position will be located in Littleton, Colorado.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Lead subarray development activities and tasking with cross-disciplinary team including RF design, mechanical, digital, as well as software engineers to develop circuit card designs, support fabrication of Printed Wiring Boards, Circuit Card Assemblies, and subassemblies.

• Lead development of early prototypes, support testing, incorporate design improvements, and ultimately obtain a final design for product development team to develop.

• Lead as the technical product owner working through the design, manufacturing, and test phases of the assigned product.

• Troubleshooting hardware and providing anomaly resolution.

• Support in developing test plans and coordinating tests, including, but not limited to antennas, filters, polarizers, and feed networks.

• Coordination with Mechanical Packaging Engineering group to update designs and drawings for manufacturing and assembly

• Support the Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead in planning and executing development work scope and Program execution

• Coordinate and support requirements analysis and decomposition

• Support Ad Hoc tasking by Program technical leaders

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in RF antenna design

• Experience with hardware design, analysis and/or troubleshooting.

• Experience working with subcontractors and supply chain

• Understanding of antenna pattern design and analysis

• Candidate must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working with minimal direction

• Must possess excellent presentation skills and technical writing skills

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or an associated discipline.

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Electronically Steered Arrays (ESAs) and phased array antenna design.

• Certification and training as Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) or Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE), or equivalent

• Proficient working with RF design simulation tools – ADS, HFSS, Matlab/SIMULINK, SystemVue

• Understanding of RF communications systems link budget analysis

• Experience with RF test equipment

• Thorough understanding of critical RF components and subsystems, current and evolving knowledge of critical RF subsystem suppliers

• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $114,100 - $218,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
