As a Spacecraft Electrical Systems Engineer, you will serve as a member of the Systems Engineering Integration & Test Team responsible for the following activities:

• Provide design, integration, and engineering support of MSP Electrical products
• Create interface documents and lead resolution of Electrical interface issues
• Foster communication and coordinate technical changes between MSP System Integrators and subsystems RSEs including EPS, C&DH, Propulsion, Mechanical, Thermal, GN&C, Mechanisms, Communications, Software, and Payloads
• Oversee electrical performance and integration, power modeling, channelization/electrical interconnect management, interface compatibility analysis, and electrical subsystem designs to ensure compliance with the spacecraft level technical baseline, maintaining end-to-end compatibility, functional allocations and margins
• Perform as a Systems Test Lead during powered testing to track vehicle configuration and ensure vehicle safety, timely yet thorough anomaly resolution, and overall test execution and adequacy
• Lead failure and anomaly investigations while being responsible for technical soundness of decisions during vehicle test
• Ensure compatibility of support equipment and special test equipment
• Work as a delegate of the Vehicle CPE capable of overseeing all powered test activities with real-time Vehicle CPE authority
• Develop systems integration and test plans and support system and subsystem integration
tasks, environmental, and ground tests
• Provide guidance and technical expertise to junior systems integration and design engineers

Basic Qualifications:
• System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering (i.e.- Power Electronics, Digital Electronics, RF, Software, etc)
• Experience with the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full life cycle of the program
• Demonstrated skills solving very complex problems and implement constructive change
• Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain clearance
Desired Skills:
• At least 10 years of experience with spacecraft architecture, design, development, integration, and test
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
• Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
• Broad based and in-depth knowledge of space systems design, development, integration and test at the component through system level
• Demonstrated ability to get results from teams without direct authority
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers
• Strong team collaboration, communication and presentation skills
