You'll have an opportunity to work on world-class programs such as Orion, SBIRS, GPS-III, Commercial Vehicles, Deep Space Exploration, Classified Special Programs.
Within these Programs, you will participate in the design, development, verification and deployment of complex new software. You will utilize your previous software experience, and/or skills, to develop and maintain software using the following languages and technologies; C++, Java, Python, Big Data, Data Science, Cyber Security, and Embedded systems

Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

TS/SCI Clearance required prior to starting.

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company seeks a Software Test Engineer who will participate in the following for a SPP Program (1) develop test plans and procedures to supply the objective evidence needed for requirements verification, (2) utilize test beds to integrate software builds, develop test procedures and execute testing, (3) perform post-test analysis and document results, (4) develop software tools for automating analysis of test data for requirements compliance, (5) verify software support tools are adequate and under configuration control, (6) support preparation and review of Software Test Reports documenting results of testing.

Basic Qualifications:
• Previous C++ or Python experience
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent team orientation
Desired Skills:
• Hardware - Troubleshooting hardware problems
• Previous real-time and embedded software development experience
• Agile processes
• Full development lifecycle experience
• Ability to perform software integration and test development
• Ability to work with multiple programming languages, operating systems, and development environments.
• Understanding of missile or satellite software systems
• Systems Programming - RHEL, UNIX/Linux,
• Continuous Integration: Git, Subversion, Redmine
