Description:Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is looking for Cybersecurity professionals to work on Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) products that protect and defend the information flow of critical and time sensitive data on many military application and networks.

As part of the Spectrum Convergence Team, you will ensure cyber security standards are met and implemented. The candidate will be working in an agile development environment on RedHat Linux-based OS, and will be responsible for supporting elements of the design/sustainment/development efforts. The candidate should be a well-rounded software developer with experience in an object oriented language, such as C++ or Java. The candidate should be a self-starter that is attentive to details and works well in a team environment and who desires to learn RUST programming.

Duties to include software design and development in a Secure Edition Linux environment, SE Linux Policy creation, maintenance and debugging, message parser development, XML schema development, network protocol integration, shell scripting development, and software test.

Additionally, the proven ability to provide software engineering and project leadership, team member support and mentoring, programmer guidance and assistance is required. Flexibility and agility to changing requirements and programming languages, and a desire to learn and experience new opportunities to improve team performance is a must.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:
- Proficiency with one or more of the following software languages: C, C++, Java

- Current experience with Object Oriented languages

- Proficient working in Linux/Unix operating system environment

Pay Rate:

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
