Job Responsibilities

Job ID: 727398BR Date posted: May. 12, 2026
Description: Who We Are:
At C2 Ground, we are a diverse group of programs unified in our mission to support various customers and capabilities within the Command and Control Domain. As a "Family of Programs" we deliver a wide range of hardware and software solutions that provide mission-critical capabilities to our customers. Our software products focus on key areas such as Tasking, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TPED), Communications, and Mission Planning Applications, while our hardware products include customizable and transportable mobile ground shelters and mission equipment designed to thrive in diverse environments and climates.

THE WORK
This exciting position is for the C2 Ground Systems program as a Software Configuration Analyst, which is primarily responsible for managing the software license management lifecycle. In this function, you will serve as the strategic backbone that guarantees all software and maintenance agreements are flawlessly licensed, fully compliant, and optimized for cost.

By weaving together meticulous inventory tracking, proactive renewal coordination, and razor sharp audit support using Jira and Confluence, this role transforms what could be a bureaucratic hassle into a powerful engine of operational readiness. Working hand in hand as a team-player with elite engineers, trusted vendors, and forward thinking program managers, this position crafts and enforces robust licensing frameworks that keep the software and maintenance ecosystem agile, resilient, and future proof.

They continuously monitor usage patterns, spot optimization opportunities, and negotiate favorable terms that unlock savings without sacrificing capability. When compliance audits loom, you will lead rapid, transparent responses that protect the program from costly penalties and preserve mission integrity. By championing innovative tooling and automation—leveraging dashboards, scripts, and analytics—you will provide real time visibility into license health and maintenance agreements, turning data into decisive strategic insight.

Ultimately, the Software Configuration Analyst not only safeguards the software assets and maintenance agreements that drive command and control, but also fuels the program’s ability to adapt, evolve, and win in today’s dynamic operational landscape.
