The Contract Program Security Officer provides multi-disciplined security support for various programs at the Littleton, Colorado Waterton Campus. In this role, you will:

- Interface with business unit management, engineering staff and customer reps (DSS, SCI and SAP/SAR) to design and implement security measures as outlined within the DoD 5205.7, DCID, and NISPOM and other program-specific security directives in support of DoD, SCI and SAP/SAR program activity.
- Coordinate with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.
- Prepare security plans outlining regulations and established procedures for all areas of the security department.
- Responsible for all aspects of security to include personnel, physical, technical, visitor control, and classification management.
- Develop security education programs and conduct security training.
- Investigate security incidents and violations; prepare reports of investigations for management and customers, making specific recommendations for corrective and preventative actions.
- Prepare operating procedures outlining regulations, and establishing procedures for the handling, storing and transportation of program assets.
- Conduct self-inspection and customer/government compliance inspection with nothing less than satisfactory results.

A TS/SCI is required with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Candidate will typically have 10+ years of experience.

Basic Qualifications:
- Active DoD TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with senior level internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NISPOM/DCID/DoD 5205.07 series documents.
- Working knowledge of OPSEC and Counterintelligence.. - Willingness to travel for program support as needed.
- Available to respond after hours and be on call.
Desired Skills:
- Prior SAP/SAR/SCI experience.
- Demonstrated experience in INFOSEC, OPSEC, and Counterintelligence.
- Previous experience supporting life-cycle security requirements from proposal to contract close-out.
- Able to manage multiple security protection levels existing on a program.
- Self-driven and results-oriented capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Articulate and able to present intelligent, decisive and risk-managed security recommendations and decisions on a daily basis.
