Come and be part of our team in the dynamic world of Lockheed Martin Space. You will perform as a member of a team in the role of an RF Test Specialist. This role requires that you to work with a variety of RF tuning/testing equipment. You will help us ensure quality production of various RF-related hardware as we provide our customers’ products that meet quality production standards.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
•You perform process tests and tuning of RF circuits using indium and gold.
•You implement test set-ups, perform tests, collects results, and maintain appropriate logs.
•You provide written reporting with supported oral presentation of results.
•You construct, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment we use to support RF testing/tuning.
•You ensure we have correct functionality of units under test and test equipment.
•You identify any discrepancies within testing.
•You will collaborate with all functional groups on various projects.
•You maintain accurate records, fill out logs accurately, and explain defects found-clearly and concisely.
•Must be willing to work off shifts as required by the needs of the business.

Typical Experience:

High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 5 Years or more of experience.

Basic Qualifications:
•Familiar with setup, calibration, and use of Signal Generators, Spectrum/Wavetek Analyzer, and/or Power and Volt Meters.
•Able to read drawings, parts list, and work from Operating Instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
•RF knowledge to include familiarity with UHF, C, Ku, and/or Ka bands.
•Working knowledge of windows-based computers and Microsoft Office products (Word and Outlook).
Desired Skills:
•3 years test experience in aerospace, military, and/or communications satellite hardware production.
•Proven experience communicating/briefing managers, employees, and customers to maintain a sustainable working relationship.
•Individual who has initiative, motivation, and desire to learn and grow.
•Previous experience tuning circuits with indium and gold.
