You will contribute to the design and development and testing of high reliability RF EGSE systems. You may perform requirements analysis and develop specifications, perform, execute detailed calibrations, validate performance of RF EGSE, and certify a deliverable product.

In this role you will support more senior engineers to provide technical and programmatic support to various RF products and calibrations

The RF Engineer position emphasizes ‘systems thinking’ throughout the lifecycle of payloads, subsystems, and RF components and EGSE.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or higher in an Electrical, Electronics, Physics program or other related discipline from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.

• Experience with RF design, testing, and analysis.

• Active TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance
Desired Skills:
•Basic knowledge of RF circuit analysis, using tools such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, mixers, dividers, Waveguide, etc.
•Integration & Test of RF components, payloads, and/or subsystems
•Knowledge of Electronic Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and/or Special Test Equipment (STE)
• Understanding of RF testing methodologies.
• Experience with RF design and simulation tools
• Experience in RF hardware design
• Experience with RF system performance analysis
• Ability to develop RF system and subsystem performance requirements
• Experience with requirements verification planning
• Experience with creating presentation charts and general status reports, and delivering presentations to customers
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Certification and training as Certified Principal Engineer (CPE), Responsible Engineer, or equivalent
• Certification Test Conductor (CTC)
• Ability to calibrate RF paths
