The candidate will develop payload tests on a testbed to be used in space vehicle testing. The candidate will also lead the effort of integrating engineering design units that consist of RF components and digital processors.

- Lead a team of payload engineers on RF, software, and networking skillsets. Develop and execute tests based on system-level requirements.

- Work with the Assembly, Test, and Launch Organization to develop automated tests that will be used in space vehicle testing without reconfiguration of ATLO test equipment

- Lead troubleshooting efforts to reproduce or resolve anomalies on the testbed during the hardware and software integration process

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, related degree, or combined equivalent education/related experience.

- Experience developing and executing test plans

- Experience or familiarity with space-rated hardware

- Experience with RF communications systems

- Top Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience in leading teams

- Experience with requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development

- Experience with test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies

- Experience with System Integration and Verification
Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied

- Strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences of varying technical knowledge

- Experience in RF testing environment

- Experience with space vehicle testing

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $128,900 - $247,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
