The RF CoE is seeking a hardworking, highly motivated RF Senior Engineer to
• Take on a significant Technical role and help GPS program successfully deliver antenna hardware via test oversight support and documentation activities.
• Bring various organizations together, drive issues to closure, and work closely with program management to be successful.
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
• Assist in negotiating handoffs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required in support of antenna hardware deliveries.

Selected candidate supports all phases of GPSIIIF-related program work from design, manufacturing, and test for RF Antenna Components and Systems. Will prepare and maintain specifications, analysis, and test methods associated with the assigned Antenna products and ensure verification of performance requirements. Supports project team throughout the antenna subsystem RF design optimization phase. Vets system level antenna architectural analysis and trade studies. Supports briefings to both External and Internal Customers. Identifies and addresses risks through the development of risk management plans. Assesses and implements design changes via Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software tools. Authors RF antenna/component vendor performance specifications. Develops and assesses test plans to ensure compliance to exacting design requirements. Coordinates and prioritizes tasking, enables cross-team integration, and drives closure of actions, ultimately delivering antenna products that meet customer and stakeholder objectives.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with RF and Antenna systems or similar hardware
• Excellent presentation, oral and written skills to facilitate effective and efficient technical and business interchanges with senior customer and management.
• Detailed knowledge of engineering and program planning throughout development, design, build, test, and integration phases
• Ability to build key relationships across organizations internally within LM and externally with government customer to achieve organizational and program goals
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, physics or other related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Antenna Product design and test experience.
• Knowledge and application of RF Product Engineering processes and Systems Integration functions, including one or more of the following:
a.) RF Link trade studies and/or RF modeling
b.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
c.) RF Product Integration, Test and/or Verification
d.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
• Ability to obtain SECRET security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) or Delegate CPE for RF Antenna Products or similar and Engineering Material Review (EMRB) experience; ability to interact with hardware CPEs and designers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied.
• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations.
• Demonstrated ability to get results from teams without direct authority.
• Proven track record of good judgment and programmatic execution necessary to meet technical requirements while balancing schedules and budget obligations.
• Experience with design reviews.
• Effective working in a fast-paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
• Experience with program lifecycle execution from concept phase through end-of-life phase
• Demonstrated experience with the risk management process.
• Successful development and delivery of space-qualified RF or Antenna components or systems, processors, and/or space-qualified electronics

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $91,400 - $152,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
