Strategic Missiles Defense HCSW Program is seeking an RF Senior Staff Engineer to develop and design the RF systems for the Booster IPT team.

This RF Senior Staff Engineer position is located in Denver, Colorado and supports Booster Integration Team and Manager by requirement development, design, qualification, integration and test of the Booster RF system. You will be responsible for project RF engineering activities such as performing Trade Studies (commonality, cost, technical, schedule) for RF system and subsystem selection for the Booster Vehicle; defining RF interfaces; generating technical requirements for Proposals, evaluating technical and cost proposals, negotiating and managing supplier’s contracts; coordinating hardware manufacturing and test schedules, delivery schedule; conducting management and customer briefings/presentations, design reviews, hardware acceptance reviews, Requirements Review; identification and resolution of project problems (failures, anomalies); managing and overseeing Suppliers' cost, schedule, and technical contractual activities; supporting/overseeing RF testing, installation and connections on Booster Vehicles in preparation for shipment; provide input to other engineering disciplines (mass property, reliability, test, safety); coordinating with various Missile and Range Safety organizations and Customers.

Typically has 14 - 20 years of experience
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related focus from an accredited college in a related discipline.
- Experience in launch vehicles and or hypersonics RF systems designs including GPS, S-band and UHF systems
- Experience as RF Components and RF Subsystem Certified Principle Engineer
- Experience in launch vehicles and or RF systems integration and test
- Experience in working with Range Safety for RF systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to work across a multi-discipline team
- Experience in Qualification of RF components
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with RF design and simulation tools
- Experience in RF hardware design
- Experience with RF system performance analysis
- Ability to develop RF system and subsystem performance requirements
- Experience with requirements verification planning
- Experience with creating presentation charts and general status reports, and delivering presentations to customers
- Proven leadership skills
