Do you have a passion for working on emerging technologies?

LM Space is looking for a manager of the Radar Systems Group within the RF and Radar Center of Excellence (COE). Responsible for overseeing a team developing radar system concepts, architectures and payload requirement for on-going and future business opportunities and for developing and implementing future radar COE strategy for LM Space.

Specific job responsibilities include:

- Developing, coordinating and implementing an overall Radar payload development strategy in support of near term and longer term needs,
- Providing leadership for the Radar Systems Group within the COE,
- Outreach to the Line of Business (LOB) to understand their needs and develop an Radar Product roadmap to address those needs,
- Leading development of an integrated set of modeling and simulation tools that can be used across the enterprise,
- Leading development of Radar Payload architectures in support of LOB needs, performing functional and performance allocation of requirements,
- Support future business activities by developing proposals for in house work, support enterprise make-buy decisions, and support supplier developments.
- Maintaining a talent pipeline for the Radar Systems Group to ensure the group can support future company needs.
- Managing Radar Systems Group staffing, allocating resources across LOBs and their respective programs.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in a related engineering discipline
- Strong leadership skills with proven capability of leading technical teams and building working relationships across organizations
- Background in one or more of the following Radar System Design, phenomenology, performance modeling, payload design, and/or related discipline.
- Experience leading a technical team
- Active TS/SCI clearance
Desired Skills:
Systems Engineering experience & background,
- Capture management, strategy development and proposal development experience
- Subcontract Program Management Experience
- At least 15 years of experience in a related engineering discipline
