Job Responsibilities
Description:We are seeking a Quality Inspector to support test activities at our Littleton, CO facility. As a Quality Inspector, you will perform critical inspections of spacecraft components prior to integration into the vehicle. This will involve working collaboratively with multi-functional teams to execute testing, including vibration, stress, propulsion, and thermal vacuum tests, across multiple ATLO, Test, Labs, and Services (ATLS) facilities.
In addition to inspection and testing, you will also support the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) team in creating the critical components required to produce and test our world-class products. This will involve working closely with a team of skilled technicians and engineers to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
As a member of our team, you will be an integral part of ensuring that quality and continuous improvement are built into every level of the test process. You will work collaboratively with your colleagues to resolve test anomalies, develop expertise in requirements and specifications, and interact with customers as needed. Typical role responsibilities include:
• Providing a variety of inspections on components as directed by procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to execute test activities, identify potential issues, and determine if non-conformances exist
• Performing test preparation, in-process verification, and post-test tasks
• Inspecting Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) components, such as cables, harnesses, boards, and racks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and eliminate quality control issues
• Ensuring proper buyoff of all paperwork and usage decisions, and maintaining accurate and complete documentation
• Preparing and maintaining electronic documentation, including QNotes, to track and report on nonconforming hardware and test results
• Working flexible hours, including off-shifts, non-standard work weeks, and overtime as needed, to support test campaigns and meet project deadlines

Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated inspection skills in a test and manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in using inspection tools for mechanical and electrical components
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to access electronic specifications and designs
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including second shift, extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong team player with a continuous improvement mindset
• US Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
• Experience with SAP and VeCAMS
• Familiarity with Automation Framework
• Technical degree or industry-related certifications
• Relevant certifications, such as:
• Hardware Torquing
• Connector Mate/Demate
• Cable Harness Inspection
• Solder Inspection

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $49,400 - $86,940. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
