The Production Operations Quality Manager for RF and Antenna Production Operations (RAPO) will operate out of our Littleton, CO campus and will report directly to the Senior Quality Manager. You will be responsible for applying a strong working knowledge of basic electronics manufacturing processes. As a leader you will engage and support the team and be a motivated change agent. You will also execute all elements of the LM Quality Management System within RAPO while managing a sizable RAPO Quality team consisting of ~ 33 total headcount comprised of Quality Managers, Quality Engineers and Quality Inspectors.

Responsibilities also include:
• Providing resource management to ensure that the right skills are being applied across the RAPO Production Operations Quality Team while ensuring mission success and efficiency.
• Performing all associated QA personnel management functions including performance appraisals, setting and monitoring performance, development of department specific goals, and maintaining appropriate QA staffing levels to support RAPO operations.
• Maintaining open and effective communications with our DCMA customer and serve as the point of contact with DCMA for matters affecting management of product quality.
• Implementing and driving quality controls on design, assembly, and test of in-house built products within RAPO.
• Coordinating and conducing t a monthly Corrective Action Board (CAB) that will analyze hardware quality issues and nonconformance trends for RAPO.
• Overseeing collaborations with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Supervising the development and implementation of methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment at RAPO.
• Monitoring the audit of quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
• Ensuring that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is in accordance with requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.)
• Previous leadership experience managing a Quality Assurance operation
• Extensive experience working in production electronics
manufacturing
• Demonstrated expertise leading and implementing continuous process improvement
• Experienced in prioritizing and managing team workload to meet program need dates
• Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills
Desired Skills:
• Aerospace or Defense industry experience highly desired
• Proven ability to manage Quality Assurance efforts in
accordance with enterprise-level command media and Program specific requirements
• Knowledge of root cause analyses methodologies and
demonstrated experience in the development and evaluation of effective preventive/corrective action plans
• Understanding of AS9100 Quality System requirements and special process approval
• Green belt/black belt certification and demonstrated successful project completions
• Inclusive and customer focused behavior and problem solving abilities, developing employees, building constructive partnering relationships with customers, employees, DCMA, and other business units
• Experience in monitoring and maintaining budget allocations
• Current or ability to acquire a Secret Clearance, which requires an extensive background investigation
