Space is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to support RF Products in Littleton, Colorado. As a Project Engineer, you will:

•Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.

•Plans and formulates engineering program

•Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

•Effectively manage control account performance, elevate concerns and issues where appropriate to program management, including other impacted control account managers

•Work with partnering organizations (Procurement, Supply Chain, Packaging, ECAD etc.) to ensure all processes are appropriately followed and implemented to ensure smooth product flow throughout the life-cycle

•Be able to identify control account performance, elevate concerns and issues where appropriate to the CAM, including other impacted control account managers.

•Work to establish relationships and begin partnering with organizations (PMP, quality, etc.) to help ensure all processes are appropriately followed and implemented to ensure smooth product flow throughout the lifecycle.

•Identify risks and opportunities to the program Risk & Opportunity Control Board and implement approved mitigation plans

•Conduct closed loop corrective action to include thorough variance analysis, monitoring of cost/schedule mitigation activities, and corrective action adjustment as necessary

•Provide timely and accurate insight to key program impacts or opportunities to RF COE Management

•Assesses schedule impacts and work with engineering support teams to help re-prioritization and resolve any schedule conflicts

•Provide weekly report at Director’s level on engineering drawing releases and issue resolution

Typically has 9 - 14 years of experience

Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early milestones may drive future costs
• Experience or ability to perform as a Project Engineer
Desired Skills:
• Previous project lead experience
• Previous Proposal and BOE experience
• Demonstrated experience in driving complex issues or problems to successful closure
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance
• Desire to enhance Program Management skills including communication, the ability to deal with unforeseen challenges, and building strong relationships
• Familiarity with spacecraft or subsystem production
• Strong problem solving, root cause, corrective action, and closure skills
• Lead discussions and determine resolutions to problems
• Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with customer
• Accept responsibility, accountability and exercise authority to ensure cost, schedule, and technical success
• Risk and Opportunity Management experience
• Demonstrated experience in complex issues or problems to successful closure
• General technical knowledge of Flight Hardware and Space Vehicle Integration
