Description:Lockheed Martin Space is looking for an entry level Program Planner to support Program Planning and Program Management. As our new Program Planning team member, you will need to be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, leads by example, and has the uncanny ability to influence and cultivate collaboration and partnerships that generate impactful results. You will be part of a team to plan and manage detailed schedule networks from design, assembly, test, and into operations.

What does this role look like?

As a Program Planner you will collaborate with Engineering, Finance and Business Operations, and Program Management while working with the entire planning team to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline.

Additionally, you be responsible for developing and maintaining compliant Integrated Master Schedules which accurately and comprehensively validate contractual scope, work flow, and resources required to execute the program with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

• Works with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
• Assists in negotiating handoffs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required.
• Serves as liaison by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Quality or other related field from an accredited college/university.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
• This position requires special access to support the program and requires US Citizenship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic team environment
• Strong customer interface and communication
Desired Skills:
• Fundamental knowledge of program planning principles.
• Experience with reviews, network analysis, independent assessment of reasonableness of timelines and claims of schedule progress.
• Familiarity with AMS RealTime Projects (RTP) or other scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of Critical Path Methodology (CPM).
• Knowledge Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• Knowledge or experience in Project Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business Management or Finance, Supply Chain
