This is a rare opportunity to work closely alongside our Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) partners to field a number of future strategic systems that the nation urgently needs.
This position is within the CPS Program Controls & Acquisition (PC&A) organization, part of the Program Office supporting multiple contracts in Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) under the Theater Strike Weapon Systems (TSWS) Mission Area. In this role, you will report to the CPS Program Controls & Acquisition PM providing support to the successful acquisition, transition/startup, and cost and schedule execution of CPS program activities. In this position, you will provide Program Management leadership and guidance to the program team for baseline control and cost/schedule execution.
As a valued member of our team, your specific responsibilities may include any or all of the following activities, depending on customer and program needs:
• Leading program team in developing proposal inputs for Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REA), debit/credit proposals, and change proposals (ECP)
• Translating major acquisitions, contract modifications, and SOW revisions into an executable program management baseline through program transition & startup phase
• Providing PM guidance on execution fundamentals including: Earned Value Management, metrics tracking & improvement, baselining new scope, ERB/CCB delegate approval, CEAC, IBR/PAR/INAR, and SPA/replanning activity.
• Assessing Program Risks & Opportunities
• Conducting preliminary PM reviews for major business rhythms (e.g. CEAC, baseline reviews, SPA) to ensure interim progress & inputs are within programmatic and customer constraints
• Leading deep dives and data scrubs related to program performance metrics (CPI, SPI, EPRS)
• Prescreening upcoming Configuration Control Board (CCB) topics to validate requests are in scope to the contract and consistent with organizational objectives.
• Acting as delegate to the PC&A PM as needed
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience managing and/or evaluating scope, schedule, and costs for a large program through either baseline control, program management, or proposal artifact development (e.g. CAM, Program Management, Proposal Leadership, Integrated Product Team leadership)
• Prior experience as formal/informal lead to geographically dispersed teams, executing complex tasking across multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional organization skills, with demonstrated ability to translate general tactical direction into detailed plans for implementation.
• Strong communication skills, with ability to persuasively communicate direction, planned approaches, and strategy to secure leader, peer, and employee buy-in.
Desired Skills:
• Prior experience in managing a program or IPT using Earned Value Management System standards, including baseline planning, EAC tracking and management, financial reporting, and change management
• Prior Program Management or Control Account Manager (CAM) experience preferred, including direct interface with customer and senior/executive leadership
• Prior experience supporting or leading proposal activity
• Previous experience in a program controls or finance role to include financial reporting internally and externally
• Experience evaluating long range financial plans and short-term financial outlooks for a program
• Experience interacting with US Navy customer organizations (e.g., SSP, NAVSEA, PMS-XXX, IWS-X, Naval Surface Warfare Centers)
• Use of metrics, business rhythm, and reporting to effectively manage large-scale (>$100M) profit/loss effort
• Previous experience with people leadership

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
