Description:As the Manager of Learning Solutions this individual will lead a team of instructional design and knowledge management professionals generating learning solutions in varied delivery modalities (web-based, micro-learning, video, instructor-led, flipped classroom, and blended approaches) to address business and performance needs, partnering with internal Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and external vendor development resources.

In partnership with the Engineering function, Talent & Organizational Capability (T&OC) team and broad Human Resources (HR) organization, this role will support the rollout of critical skill program development to sustain and advance talent pipeline within the Engineering Directorates. Ensure the right training solutions and knowledge transfer methods are deployed to key audiences to further the critical skill and role based career progression of employees and leaders.

Supports learning policies to assure compliance with all corporate and government training requirements. Works in partnership with broader T&OC function to support auditors as required to ensure compliance.

Responsible for the sustainment of robust knowledge continuity programs and capabilities that enable both structured and informal knowledge sharing. Actively drive the broader enterprise Knowledge Management (KM) advancement and serve as the lead Center of Excellence (CoE) partner for Space KM. Partner with fellow leaders to assess critical skills, attrition, and other key factors impacting continuous knowledge transfer. Focus on scaling and further improving existing knowledge continuity processes to provide increased knowledge continuity support for new teams and areas within Space.

Engage stakeholders and learners through user-centric processes and apply a cost effective agile methodology when developing training plans and deliverables. Evaluate training requests using industry standard metrics to make sound recommendations or to offer alternatives when non-training solutions may address a performance or skill gap more effectively.

Implement measurement strategies and continuous improvement cycles for learning deliverables to ensure they best meet the needs of an evolving multi-generational workforce. Devise strategies to connect learners with already available resources when this approach meets the learning gap more effectively or efficiently than building new training assets. Develop re-usable content strategy to help ensure that all training assets generated are fully leveraged across Space.

Develop strong partnerships and solid working relationships with internal client groups and training stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Strong project management skills
• 2 years of Full Spectrum Leadership or relevant experience leading major projects with ability to energize team, develop relationships at multiple levels, and deliver measurable value
• Proven success developing and presenting business solutions that enable achievement of priorities to varied audiences of leaders and employees
• Experience leading in a high urgency rapidly changing complex work environment with shifting priorities
• Proficiency in leading geographically dispersed teams
• Ability to assess/analyze and select direct reports and provide performance feedback and coach
Desired Skills:
• Advanced degree in related field
• Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin HR processes, procedures and tools
• PMI, Agile PM certification, or advanced project management related credentials preferred
• Experience leveraging modern adult learning concepts, theories, tools, and processes
• Instructional Design or eLearning Development experience (ADDIE, SAM, AGILE, Articulate 360)
