The Lockheed Martin Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) team in our Military Support Program is made up of enthusiastic and talented individuals that design and produce the hardware, algorithms, and software required to solve the challenging problems of controlling these systems in a harsh, zero-g environment. They support the build, integration, test, verification and ops support during checkout of spacecraft. This position requires an Active DoD Top Secret clearance to start and the ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Top Secret with Poly clearance, hence being a U.S. Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
- BS or MS Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline focusing on spacecraft dynamics, control system design & analysis
- Experience with simulation and programming tools (ex. Matlab/Simulink, C++, Python)
- Experience in model development and performing GN&C design and/or analysis tasks
- Experience going through several phases of spacecraft life cycle development
- Familiarity with a GN&C hardware suite for space applications
- Possess an Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to acquire a TS/SCI clearance with Poly
Desired Skills:
- Experience with flight software development and autocode to C++
- Experience going through a spacecraft program life cycle encompassing requirements generation, design, analysis, integration, verification, and testing of the GN&C subsystem for space applications
- Mission operations experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated good communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers.
- Possess an Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $89,600 - $171,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
