The mission of the Space Protection Programs (SPP) Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) team is to team with our technical leads and customers to deliver exceptional products and innovative business solutions. In support of this objective, SPP F&BO is seeking a high energy individual to join the Program Finance portion of our team. The duties of this role include partnering with CAMs to plan, budget, and manage the performance for control accounts by analyzing and forecasting in support of cost management.

Complete all EVM assigned duties to include work authorization requests, estimate at complete review, variance reporting, baseline change requests, and comprehensive estimates at complete. Conduct closed loop corrective action to include thorough variance analysis, monitoring of cost mitigation activities, and adjustments as necessary. Provide charging direction and monitor charging in accordance with scope period of performance.

Basic Qualifications:
- Finance or related degree or equivalent experience/combined education
- Working knowledge of various Finance functions (i.e. EVM, contracts, estimating, planning, FP&A, etc.)
- Some previous experience developing packages and presenting to senior leadership
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and reporting accuracy
- Innovation and continuous improvement must be inherent in the day-to-day operations.
- Ability to apply skills and knowledge to provide comprehensive, data driven analysis
Desired Skills:
- Proficient in various program finance applications (i.e. SAP/ERP, COBRA, etc.)
- Basic understanding of an Integrated Master Plan and Schedule
- An understanding of EVM System Implementation Guidelines
- Accept responsibility, accountability and exercise authority to ensure cost, schedule, and technical success
- Strong problem solving, root cause, corrective action, and closure skills
- Excellent communication in an environment of competing priorities
