This position will lead the Business Operations Team for the Space Protection Programs mission area focused on program execution, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and estimating. The Business Operations Senior Manager will be managing a team responsible for cost control, planning and scheduling, EVM, budgeting, forecasting, change proposals, financial planning, and successful execution of the business rhythm. Aggressively manages and performs analysis to ensure present and future schedules/cost, and business financial performance is consistent with forecasts and identifies risk and opportunities to the plans.
You will be a key interface with the customer counterparts, internal program and executive management on programmatic and financial related activities. Provides leadership to the program management team and effectively manage the business portfolio in order to develop and achieve financial commitments including Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash, overhead and capital.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree or Above in Finance/Business Administration/Accounting or related discipline
- Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance required
- Extensive experience in Program Business Operations with increasing levels of responsibility, leadership, business breadth, and customer interaction. Experience includes: financial reporting, Earned Value Management (EVM), Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and leading cost control/planning/contracts business teams.
- Proficient communication, analytical, and presentation skills. This includes interfacing and conducting presentations with customers and internal program/executive management, and assessing program cost/schedule/risk performance.
- Full Spectrum Leadership skills including ability to build relationships, energize and develop the F&BO/Planning team, deliver customer value, shape financial strategies, and serve as a role model for other employees.
Desired Skills:
- Masters in Business Administration
- Advanced Leadership Development training and/or a minimum of 5 years experience in a formal/informal leadership role
- Extensive experience and knowledge developing cost proposals with strong negotiations skills.
- Ability to drive successful results by effectively leading teams and working across functional organizations/teams. This includes successfully motivating both engineering and business teams working together to deliver and track executable cost/schedule plans, develop viable business strategies and cost proposals and drive execution to meet commitments.
