Your Role
In this exciting opportunity, you will lead the development of Antenna and Electronically Steered Antenna (ESA) payload solutions for Space Vehicles, Missiles, and Terrestrial Platforms. As part of our cutting-edge portfolio, you will work on projects that address the critical needs of commercial, civil, and government customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design & Develop: Lead the creation of high-reliability RF components, subsystems, and advanced Antenna and ESA payloads.
• Analyze & Validate: Perform in-depth analysis and modeling to ensure optimal performance of antennas, ESA systems, and circuit-level components.
• Innovate: Participate in developing the next-generation technologies, support proposal development, and help capture new business opportunities.
• Systems Thinking: Apply systems-level thinking throughout the lifecycle of RF and antenna components, subsystems, and payloads to ensure cohesive and efficient design.
What You Would Bring:

• Active DoD Top Secret or DoE Q security clearance
• Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience

Basic Qualifications:
• Active Top Secret or DoE equivalent, with the ability to obtain a SCI clearance
• Degree in electrical engineering or STEM-related degree/certification
• Experience with Antennas, RF Electronics, or Electronically Steerable Antennas (ESA)
• Knowledge of tools such as Agilent ADS (Advanced Design System), Ansys HFSS (High Frequency Structure Simulator), AWR Microwave Office, or similar tool packages.
• Knowledge of antenna design and analysis tools such as GRASP (General Responsibility Assignment Software Patterns), HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, WIPL-D, FEKO, or similar tool packages
• Knowledge of RF communications systems link budget analysis.
Desired Skills:
• Active TS/SCI
• Experience using tools such as Agilent ADS (Advanced Design System), Ansys HFSS (High Frequency Structure Simulator), AWR Microwave Office, or similar tool packages.
• Experience with antenna design and analysis tools such as GRASP (General Responsibility Assignment Software Patterns), HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, WIPL-D, FEKO, or similar tool packages
• Experience with RF or Antenna or ESA performance analysis using MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools
• Experience designing antennas and/or feed networks such as reflectors, waveguide components, horns, helices, phased arrays or electronically steered antennas (ESAs), patches, or similar hardware.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $93,400 - $179,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
