What does this role look like?
We are looking for the Navy Strategic Programs (NSP) Electronics Senior Manager to lead the development of an electronics packages that include advanced Hypersonic Technology, Glide Body Strike technology, and other key technology insertions.
This team will be integral to all aspects of the electronics development on the vehicle.
The early design and engineering phase provides you with tremendous career growth potential along with meaningful assignments to stretch and hone your expertise. This is a rare opportunity to work closely alongside our Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) partners to field a number of future strategic systems that the nation urgently needs.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Lead the development of an electronics package for the weapons system.
• Provide leadership on a fast paced team from requirements through development and production
• Be responsible to assure coordination between functional groups during the product development life cycle.

• You will typically have 10+ years of professional experience.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance thus US Citizenship is required.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
• Electronics hardware design, development and test experience (Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) electronics design, valve driver, modifying existing PATC and EMIU designs, etc.
• Proven project leadership in electronics hardware design.
• Experience in the development including product ownership responsibility for missile, space, or equivalent high reliability applications.
• Experience on a development program including generating detailed proposal cost and/or schedule estimates.
• Demonstrated experience with Avionics Architecture (physical / functional).
• Demonstrated experience with telemetry systems.
• Understanding of analog and digital circuit
design and analysis
• Ability to interpret and create electrical
• Experience with Test and Measurement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Aerospace experience
• Missile System design experience
• Supply chain technical oversight experience
• Demonstrated experience with electronics
• Demonstrated excellent written and oral
communications skills are required, with an
ability to address diverse audiences, such as
customer reviews, management meetings, etc.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $118,100 - $226,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
