We are a dynamic team starting work on a multi-year, -critical system. We are looking for an energetic and motivated project engineer to join our team. We develop cutting-edge processing algorithms and for a high-performance, distributed systems using an agile development methodology. In our approach to agile development we are a collaborative effort of self-organizing and cross-functional teams organized to solve our customer’s complex signal processing problems. Our work is interesting, challenging, and very rewarding. This Project Engineer position is for the Control Account Manager (CAM) for the New Moon Program.

• As the Control Account Manager, you will have the authority and accountability for specific Control Accounts within the New Moon Integrated Product Team (IPT).
• You will be responsible for the development, definition, and management of the scope, schedule, and budget for the work contained in their Control Accounts.
• In addition, you will be introduced to bid & proposal work in support of ECPs to the New Moon for current and future contracts.
• You will part of the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test Team and will report directly to the SEIT Manager.
• Work directly with the Software Development Team, Systems Engineering Team, and the Program Manager (PM) for the New Moon Program.
• The responsibilities of the Control Account Manager will include being the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) point of contact for the program and providing direction and oversight for the accounts you will manage.
• You will support the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) planning and execution.
• Act as the program representative at program level meetings regarding EVMS and schedule related discussions. This includes preparing presentations and delivering briefings to the prime customer and internal leadership regarding Control Account performance.
• In addition, you will develop Control Account variance reports as per Lockheed Martin Corporate Program Performance Management Process PPMP-01 and program standard work for full criteria EVMS compliance.
• As a Control Account Manager, you will be responsible for monthly and weekly status of IMS activities. This includes reporting on past performance, analysis of EVMS data, projecting future performance, and creating planning for the execution of future scope. This requires contributions to program deliverables such as the monthly CPR and annual Comprehensive EAC (CEAC) processes.
• You will also use the New Moon Risk and Opportunities process, work with the PM, Software Engineering Manager, Technical Leads, Systems Engineering Manager, and New Moon Business Operations to develop plans to mitigate cost growth and develop realistic Estimates at Complete (EAC).
• The CAM will also work with the aforementioned team members to manage schedule, and mitigate schedule variance. This includes the running of weekly task execution meetings within the IPT.

Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
-EVMS experience to include writing cost and schedule variances, calculating estimate at complete (EAC) and EVMS ratios such as schedule performance index (SPI) and cost performance index (CPI).
-CAM experience on a program that uses EVMS
Desired Skills:
Lockheed Martin Control Account Management (CAM) training course completion
Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) execution experience
Technical presentation experience to include briefing customers on IMS execution, EVMS metrics, and tasks completion status
Ability to apply Agile software development techniques to EVMS
Support to basis of estimates (BOEs) and responses to ECPs
