Description:Lockheed Martin, in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) Global Logistics Support Services (GLSS), is seeking an experienced Systems Security Engineer (SSE) at our Lexington facility.

The successful candidate is experienced with implementing Cybersecurity and Program Protection for Platform Information Technology (PIT) systems within the Department of Defense (DoD). This includes implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and identification/protection of Critical Program Information (CPI). This position is within the Fixed Wing Systems Engineering (SE) organization, primarily supporting modification of multiple C-130 aircraft variants. The candidate works within the SE team throughout the design lifecycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.) to document and ensure the platform security posture. Tasks may include architecture definition, allocation and derivation of controls, implementation testing and assessment, and coordination with the Government or Program Office to achieve the desired Authorizations. Knowledge of the Systems Security Engineering process and associated documentation is key for success in this role. The candidate should be a self-starter, have a strong technical background, and be able to effectively communicate with the customer and across the team.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Experience with the application of Risk Management Framework (RMF), and associated documentation, for DoD PIT systems.

Experience with the Systems Engineering design lifecycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.).

Experience coordinating Information Assurance activities across the team for design and authorization.
Desired Skills:
CISSP, Security+, or similar certification.

Experience with identification and protection of Critical Program Information (CPI).

Experience with software development.

Experience with DoD processes or design/modification of military fixed wing aircraft.

Experience in generating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs).
