Description:Experience utilizing an Inventory Management / Asset Management system. Experience in handling Government Property. Perform physical inventory and research discrepancies for data validation. Performs all daily activities necessary to maintain effective and accurate inventory. Perform duties as instructed by management. Travel to offsite locations to perform physical inventories.
Basic Qualifications:
At least 2 years experience in similar positions. Ability to learn different software applications to include GFP and GOLDesp. Ability to work irregular or extended hours including nights and weekends in order to have minimal impact on production operations. Must have attention to detail and be able to operate in a self-managed environment. Functional knowledge of standard office practices and use of computers and software programs, such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and/or Access.
Desired Skills:
Ability to read and understand equipment label data. Ability to read small print on packaging and paperwork, with or without corrective lenses. Ability to utilize equipment for the job safety and accurately after training (such as computers, handheld trackers, copiers, scanners, printers, radio headsets, etc.). Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS clauses related to the management of Government owned property. Familiarity with Government Property and logistics of accountability is desired.
