Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Sr. Master Production Scheduler in the Production Planning and Control (PP&C) Department to support our SOF GLSS Program. This program is critical to the success of US service men and women deployed throughout the world. Our mission is to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community and its war fighters with the best possible systems and equipment.

This job position acts as a hub connecting several key functional areas in execution of critical tasks to ensure on-time production and integration deliveries.

Duties will include:
• Participates in estimating phase and kickoff of new projects
• Interfaces with program, operations, and engineering managers across the SOF GLSS contract
• Interprets and executes customer contracts and internal policies/procedures
• Supports production forecast commitments, schedule changes, and short-range recovery planning
• Develops and maintains Internal Operating Plan (IOP)
• Adds Networks, Activities and Material Demand in SAP Project Systems to drive demand and support labor charging
• Creates and oversees master schedules, schedule review board, and long range plans for multiple task orders
• Uses leveling techniques and planning factors to optimize business performance
• Reporting/tracking responsibilities from project proposal through execution to delivery
• Provides input/status to management
• Assumes responsibility and takes the lead, when needed, to drive tasks beyond immediate role to ensure project success

Basic Qualifications:
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP/ERP) System experience
• Previous Production, Planning, and Control (PP&C) background
• Detail oriented with ability to drive results and manage time efficiently
• Capable of working independently in a high paced manufacturing environment
• Possess strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact with personnel at all levels in the organization
Desired Skills:
• Production Scheduling background
• Capacity Planning experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (VBA/Macros/Formulas)
• SAP (ERP software) expertise
• Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Project and Teamcenter
• Experience with contract bidding process
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
• APICS Certification: CPIM -- Certified in Production and Inventory Management; CSCP -- Certified Supply Chain Professional
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
