Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an Manufacturing Planner Sr. to support our SOF GLSS Program. This program is critical to the success of US service men and women deployed throughout the world. Our mission is to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community and its war fighters with the best possible systems and equipment. Lockheed Martin’s SOF GLSS (Special Operations Force – Global Logistics Support Services) contract provides logistics and sustainment support across multiple platforms to include fixed/rotary wing aircraft and military special operations vehicles.

Lockheed Martin's Missiles & Fire Control, SOF GLSS (Special Operations Forces - Global Logistic Sustainment Services) contract provide logistics and sustainment supporting multiple programs and platforms.

This Manufacturing Planner works as a Lead in the MRP Department supporting Make, Buy and/or Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. Performs multiple MRP support activities with various MRP functional areas. Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time-phased plan for procured parts and execute/optimize processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements. Maintains MRP parameters, including lead times and lot sizes, and coordinates with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make the associated changes to the BOM.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Interfaces with MRP functions, Master Scheduling, Manufacturing Floor Support, PP&C Integration, Production Engineering, E&T, Quality, Program Office and other Supporting Functional Departments
• Task Order Lead -- Attend all meetings pertaining to assigned Task Orders, maintain all Teamcenter releases, create all work orders released in Teamcenter, perform material scrub and order all materials required utilizing IT Reports, create Manufacturing Plans, populate all deliverables on the Ship Cell Tracker, coordinate all changes (i.e. APR, dates, expedites) on Ship Trackers with Ship Cell Team, monitor all shortages for deliverables, track paybacks/task order modifications/TAPO log/etc., ensure timely receipt of purchase parts, provide weekly status on slides for TOA meeting to manager, oversee Task Order Closure Checklist, etc.
• Work Orders – release of work orders to manufacturing, issue to work package kitting, responsible for work order status comments, conducts daily Man Plan updates, utilizes MRP Report which shows ready’s/borrows/shorts, processes work order release requests, manages KPKI/LASY Logs and NILs (in-process shortages), communicates with Procurement Team regarding material shortages that need to be ordered, etc.
• Task Order Closeout – responsible to ensure work orders are closed, filed, and scanned.
• Record Retention – work orders are filed in boxes, labeled, recorded in Record Database and stored in the tunnel

Basic Qualifications:
- Complete knowledge of all areas within MRP
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP/ERP) System experience
- Thorough knowledge of Teamcenter
- Full Non-Conforming / ECN knowledge
- Possess excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with personnel at all levels in the organization
- Detail oriented with ability to drive results
- Advanced ability for problem solving and making decisions
- Experience in training new employees
- Capable of working independently in a high paced manufacturing environment
- Strong in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Intermediate to Advanced Excel skillset
- Previous Production, Planning and Control (PP&C) experience
- Acquisition / procurement background
- Prior leadership experience
