Logistics Intern - Lexington, KY

Description:Provides direct support and assistance to a SOF-GLSS Enterprise Logistics Manager in Support of Special Operating Forces units and non- SOF units. Assists with processing of the following: Coordinating task order requirements with PMO and Logistics personnel to include warehouse, transportation, repair and return, supply support and life cycle sustainment management . Responsibilities include Repair Parts requisitions, inventory related task order requirements, preparation and analysis of reports to validate supply obligations.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree.

Ability to work during the school year.
Desired Skills:
A successful candidate must be able to comfortably operate as a member of a highly skilled team in a constantly changing environment.

The candidate must be an aggressive self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written), and ability to multi-task and adapt to change.

Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and with some supervision determine and navigate paths to success as a core skill.

Knowledgeable of the roles and responsibilities of a Logistics Management Analyst

Advanced competency with MS Office suite

Preferably a 2020 graduate who may be able to transition to a regular position upon graduation.
