Customer Support Manager - Logistics - Special Operations Forces

Description: This individual will act as the Deputy for Logistics Operations and will interface with PEO SOFSA's sustainment counterparts. The position is a forward facing role to Lockheed Martin Program Managers that support SOF programs by attending meetings and resolving issues. The Customer Support Manager will oversee a team of five Logistics Associate Managers that oversee their matrixed logistics organization of Logistics Management Analysts as they supports their various product lines which include fixed and rotary wing aircraft and a complement of ground programs. The team will provide logistical support for aircraft and ground modification efforts and works in close coordination with the program management office to provide end to end logistics support of SOF peculiar modifications. In addition, the Customer Support Manager will oversee operation of inbound and outbound MILSTRIP/MILSTRAP processing, DOD cataloging, MILS requests processing (inbound retail and outbound wholesale requests), purchase order processing as well as planned receipts to stock and kitting operations. The manager will utilize the inventory management system, GOLDesp to monitor on-time delivery of shipments.
Desired Skills: Experience with a wholesale and retail DOD supply system that will allow a relatively quick transition in GOLDesp related skills
Demonstrated detail-orientation, multitasking and effective project management skills
Ability to work either independently or in a team environment, depending on the task
Basic Qualifications: Solid background of DoD logistics with a firm foundation of related skillsets that will allow quick transition to multi service supply system support.
Demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely report program logistics status to senior level management and customer representatives
Demonstrated learning agility (picking up information and assimilating effectively and efficiently)
Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems, analyze data and translate into recommendations and presentations
Excellent collaboration skills across cross-functional and external reporting relationships
Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to present complex ideas to senior management and other audiences
