Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control, SOF GLSS (Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services) is seeking an entry level Aeronautical Engineer in Lexington, KY. This program is critical to the success of US service men and women deployed throughout the world. Our mission is to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community and its war fighters with the best possible systems and equipment anywhere in the world.

The team is focused mainly on modifying existing aircraft and integrating modified components into various platforms based on customer specifications.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
* technical execution of stress, and thermal analysis efforts in the Rotary Wing Product Teams.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.
Desired Skills:
Experience with a Finite Element Model (FEM) creation using ANSYS, NASTRAN, or similar programs

Experience with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prior technical leadership experience

Government report or thesis writing experience

Demonstrated previous success working in a team based environment to meet objectives
