This role is for a talented Systems Engineering Manager for Requirements, Architecture, and/or Integration Test within the MS3 portfolio of programs. This manager role includes the Agile leadership, functional, cost, schedule, and technical responsibilities for a 20 person team which includes support to multiple programs. This role works closely with the Systems Engineering Manager who will delegate programmatic responsibilities for specific projects and tasks within the Systems Engineering organization. The Manager will have programmatic responsibilities as part of Release Planning, Release Management, Control Account Management, cost estimation, and schedule creation and progress status. Functional responsibilities include employee recruitment, work assignments, performance assessment, salary and recognition/disciplinary actions, and career coaching.

Basic Qualifications:
- Project leadership experience
- Experience with system engineering activities such as design (including critical methods), requirements analysis, decomposition, allocation and verification.
- Excellent aptitude for math, physics and complex algorithm development.
- Organized self-starter, with a proven ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Individual contributor or technical leadership experience in one or more of the following: Agile methodologies, software development, systems engineering.
- Demonstrated process improvement mindset
- Ability to inspire collaboration, confidence, and motivation of a team in stressful and dynamic environments.
- The candidate should possess a high degree of ethics, strong core values and an optimistic outlook, and show the ability to work independently with initiative, creativity and innovation.
Desired Skills:
- Domain knowledge of a mission planning and scheduling or command and telemetry system.
- Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle.
- Familiarity with Program/Customer security processes, including IATT and ATO renewals.
- A working understanding of object-oriented software and database engineering principals and Agile development processes (Scrum, Test Based development, Feature Based development) is desired.
- Systems, IT, or Software Engineering Management experience
- Familiarity with automated test, agile processes, complex configuration management and systems deployment, and/or control account and earned value management

This position may require minimal travel as driven by program events.
