This Lockheed Martin-Space Software Engineer position might be for you if you are passionate about working on a Agile Team that provides environment and engineering tools support to a critical mission. You will be a part of the Dev/Ops Org and in this position will work a variety of hardware/systems, admin/network, and infrastructure-based project engineering tasks. One of more critical responsibilities entails environment development and standup along with Ansible playbook development to support automation. This position requires excellent cross-program coordination to expertly deploy and maintain this operational environment. Communication is key for scrums to work through road blocks and resolve issues quickly.

A final Top Secret SCI clearance is required for the position.

Basic Qualifications:
• Final TS DoD and TS/SCI Clearances
• Experience with Red Hat Linux Administration (i.e., RH6.x, RH7.x)
• Knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems (i.e., 2008 R2/2012/2016)
• Good analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills (written and oral)
Desired Skills:
• Proven Ansible playbook development experience
• Experience with Cloudera, HBase, HDFS and/or MySQL deployments
• HP Fortify experience
• Java development experience, particularly, web service backend with Tomcat
• Additional development experience with integrating Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana technology stack
• Security + Certification
• Knowledge of Scripting (i.e., Perl, Bash, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, etc.)
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
