Lockheed Martin's Solutions product area is seeking engineers and programmers to be part of our Warfighter Solutions Portfolio Team. Based in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, these programs are creating mission critical Electro-magnetic capabilities for United States Department of Defense (DoD) throughout the world. The Warfighter Solutions Programs consists of systems engineering, development, technical support and training for the design, development, integration, sustainment, modification, and deployment of tactical and strategic Systems.

This position is for a digital signal processing developer to design, develop, integrate, and test signal processing algorithms. Building on a common framework, the candidate will implement diverse mission solutions across a wide array of domains including communications, telecom, electronic , sensor systems, and resiliency. Develop simulations in MATLAB and implement algorithms in high level languages including /C. Candidate should have experience or strong interest in signal processing theory and be able to apply it to transmitter and receiver designs for unique mission applications. Development may include a variety of waveforms including digital modulation communication waveforms as well as pulse mode sensor waveforms, and implementation of physical layer processing chains for wireless protocols (e.g. LTE, GSM, WiFi, DVB).

The position also includes close collaboration with systems engineering efforts enabling the successful implementation of signal processing solutions within large scale RF and Antenna systems. Tasks may include requirements decomposition and flowdown, as well as development of system architecture models using tools such as DOORS and Cameo. Tasks may also include implementation of hardware-in-the-loop test configurations which integrate signal processing components with RF hardware systems for full system performance verification.

Basic Qualifications:
- Digital Signal Processing,
- Knowledge of signal processing techniques and ability to apply them to sensor and communications problems. Familiarity with basic concepts: transform theory, sampling theory, correlation, convolution, filter design, etc.
-Familiarity with frequency\\time domain\\filtering\\correlation concepts and techniques.
-Solid understanding of linear algebra concepts and duality theorems.
- Experience in simulation and analysis of signal processing algorithms and ability to implement signal processing algorithms in frameworks such as GNU or other similar environment.
- Familiarity with digital processor architecture and performance as it relates to application requirements.
- Strong analysis and mathematical skills
- Experience on a development team using C/C++ or another development language
- Effective oral and written communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a rapid paced, team environment
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid prototyping environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies (languages, patterns, signal analysis, etc.)
- Ability to self-direct or desire to lead
Desired Skills:
- Ability to architect new ideas and novel solutions
- Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot efficiently
- Ability to architect solutions in large scale code base. Ability to navigate and implement new functionality in large scale code base
- Programming experience in C++ /C, Python, or other programming languages
- Algorithm development in MATLAB
-Algorithm modeling and migration from MATLAB to C++\\CUDA
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash/Shell)
- Experience developing within Linux operating system environment
- Communication System Theory including Digital Modulation (PSK, QAM, OFDM, etc), Forward Error Correction, Carrier Frequency Tracking
- Familiarity with RF testing including familiarity with signal test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators)
- Familiarity with the VITA 49 Transport standard. Familiarity with COTS products including Ettus and Pentek families.
- Experience in implementing computationally intensive algorithms in GPUs or DSPs.
-Experience with NVIDA CUDA GPU libraries, cuBLAS, cuFFT, cuRAND
-Experience with scientific computing libraries, linpack, fftw, BLAS
-Experience with CPU\\GPU debugger tools: GDB, Nvidia Nsignt
-High Performance Computing Applications and Software Architecture; High throughput, Low latency development
- Experience working in an Agile
development environment
- Software version control tools such as GIT
- Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence
- Continuous integration environment tools including Jenkins
- (Preferred) Current TS/SCI, last Periodic Reinvestigation must be within the last five years.
- (Required) Ability to obtain TS/SCI
