In your role as SMD/NSS Valley Forge Employee Engagement you are responsible for strategically planning, coordinating, and managing SMD/NSS Valley Forge employee engagement initiatives, including the intern program, to enhance the overall employee experience at the Valley Forge site for SMD and NSS employees. This position will partner closely with the SMD and NSS stakeholder engagement teams and leaders to provide consistency in experience across the LOBs regardless of site.

The position may require some travel.

The SMD/NSS Stakeholder Engagement for Valley Forge is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
• Execute the comprehensive SMD and NSS Stakeholder Engagement strategy that enhances employee morale, satisfaction, and collaboration
• Advise and track mission segment Valley Forge engagement plans to ensure alignment with SMD and NSS objectives
• Plan, coordinate, and manage Intern Engagement activities for Valley Forge SMD and NSS Interns, ensuring a positive experience for future leaders
• Execute SMD and NSS Valley Forge Engagement events, awards and associated budgets, ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively
• Support SMD and NSS executive leadership with Offsites, All Hands, and all Leader Meetings located in Valley Forge
• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including Human resources and Communications, promoting a cohesive and positive work culture
• Implement feedback from survey results, taking action to address employee concerns and improve the work environment, in partnership with human resources
• Partner with other Space and Lockheed Martin stakeholder engagement teams, BRGs/ENs, and MFOs to leverage resources and share best practices
• Remain adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless execution of initiatives
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience leading (informally or formally) teams
• Solid budgeting and financial management skills
• Experience in event planning and coordination
• Proficiency in using project management and communication tools
• Solid ethical judgment and integrity
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
• Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Prior SMD or NSS engagement experience
• Excellent relationship building skills with all levels of employees and leadership
• Strong social acumen skills
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; effective public speaker
• Demonstrated computer skills including MS word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
• Strong attention to detail
• TS/SCI clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
