SAP Software Engineering Mgr

Description:This Lockheed Martin (LM) Enterprise IT manager position will manage product team focused on Supply Chain Analytics and Supplier Integration scopes. Duties include but are not limited to:
* Lead product design and development scope in the areas of Enterprise & RMS Supply Chain analytics, Supplier External Portals (LMP2P and Sikorsky), and Enterprise Vendor Master management processes.
* Management and oversight of the Exostar service contract and working relationship.
* Management and oversight of the Enterprise Supplier Diversity Reporting System (aka CVM).
* Leadership of direct staff in support of successful execution of all engineering deliverables, implementation activities and sustainment operations.
* Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
* Ensures software standards are met, and applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
* Responsible for product cost, schedule and performance, resource allocation.
* Collaborate across SAP CoE leadership team to build/work synergies and opportunities across SAP projects
* Successfully manages all aspects of resource planning & assignments. Ensures successful hiring and staff augmentation of resources. Responsible for areas of education, training and compliance in assigned organization to ensure the required skills are available and deployed as needed.
* Responsible for human resource administration and development (performance management, merit, promotions, etc.). Manages talent assessment and development for subordinates.
* Provide production support, including off-hours when required.
* Ensures assigned budgets are adhered to and optimally used to facilitate achieving the organizational goals.
* Provide mentoring and coaching on best practices.
* Provide input to project status and progress reports to Senior Management
* Travel to support project meetings as required.
* This role requires US citizenship.
Basic Qualifications:
* Demonstrated effective leadership of software development projects with full life cycle and sustainment experience.
* Working knowledge of Applications business processes and technologies.
* Proven experience leading a diverse team with multiple components.
* Proven ability to successfully team across dispersed organizations and geographical locations.
* Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to develop exceptional customer relationships and collaborate as a key member of the Applications staff.
* Proven Full Spectrum Leadership skills. Demonstrated leadership skills managing budget, schedule and technical skills.
* This role requires US citizenship.
Desired Skills:
* Knowledge of SAP product and software development stack (e.g. ABAP, NetWeaver, Business Objects, etc.)
* Agile development experience
* Demonstrated business acumen and ability to balance requirements with business needs.
* Experience in Service Central incident & problem management.
* Demonstrated successful experience in Supply Chain business domain.
* Experience with resource management (performance management, merit, promotions, hiring, training skill development, etc.).
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* Prior management experience
