As the payload test and integration engineer on 5G LEO you will be responsible for:

• Development and execution of the overall Assembly, Integration, and Test Plan
• Planning and execution of detailed schedules
• Reviewing Engineering Specs/Drawings and championing Design for Integration and Test (DFx) requirements that positively influence the system design for ATLO
• Identifying Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) and working with EGSE/MGSE engineers to ensure successful payload/satellite AI&T
• Preparing Facilities for Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) activities
• Developing Integration & Test Procedures, Test Scripts, and Manufacturing Work Instructions with ATLO counterparts
• Communicating ATLO status to subordinates, peers, leadership, and customers
• Presenting Payload AT&T plans, readiness, issues & resolution at Program Management Reviews (PMR), Design Reviews (PDR/CDR), and Manufacturing and Test Readiness Reviews (MRR/TRR)
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience leading Test Engineering Teams responsible for the AI&T of complex RF and Digital payload high value products
• Experience leading payload AI&T teams during the early phase of a Program Life Cycle (e.g. pre PDR/CDR) including program requirement interpretation, design for integration, developing integration & test schedules, producibility assessment, and MGSE/EGSE design and fabrication schedules
• Demonstrated ability to effectively apply lessons learned and best practices from Integration and Testing experiences to develop and champion Design for Integration and Test (DFx) initiatives.
• Effective communications (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in developing and presenting program material at customer briefings (e.g. PMR, CCB, PRB, FRB/MRB, PDR, and CDR)
Desired Skills:
• Experience with RF payloads (UHF to Ka band) and 5G communications systems
• Direct hands on experience with assembling, integrating, and testing of RF, Processing, Regenerative, and Optical Payloads
• Working knowledge of ATLO integration and test flows
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of CIPS and Automation Framework as it relates to ATLO Operations
• Current Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
• Demonstrated experience generating Basis of Estimates (BOE) requiring AI&T support
