We are seeking a highly skilled Reentry Systems Engineering Associate Manager to support the integration between the System Security Engineering team and Reentry.
The Reentry Systems Engineering Associate Manager is responsible for 1) Technical management, planning (Cost/Schedule), 2) Resource deployment/alignment, and staffing for the classified infrastructure integration and 3) System security engineering integration group within the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Reentry Digital and System Security Engineering integration organization.
As the Reentry Systems Engineering Associate Manager, you will:
• Manage the Multi-disciplined Systems Engineering organization under the direction of the Reentry Digital and Systems Security Engineering Integration L5 Manager
• Develop and maintain an Agile schedule for classified infrastructure and system security engineering efforts
• Coordinate with the FBM Missile SEIT, FBM Secure Infrastructure and Capabilities, Strategic Reentry Programs engineering teams, and 1LMX organizations to execute classified infrastructure and system security engineering efforts managed by the team.
• Coordinate with Reentry Digital and Systems Security Engineering Integration L5 Manager and program leadership to identify, plan and execute classified infrastructure and system security engineering efforts.
This position requires substantial coordination across multiple organizations including various design disciplines, flight sciences, FBM Missile SEIT, contracts, F&BO, other organizations within the Reentry directorate, as well as the SP28 customer.
Due to the organization being distributed between Denver CO, Valley Forge, PA and the Space Coast in Florida travel between sites is required (Approx. 20%).

Basic Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of at least one of the following System Security engineering principles and practices:
- Hardware Assurance
- Software Assurance
- Cyber Security
- Nuclear Surety
- Supply Chain Risk Management
• Project planning and scheduling experience
• Experience with the process for generating Basis-Of Estimates (BOEs) and providing proposal support
• Familiarity working with classified infrastructure planning
• Experience communicating and coordinating priorities to customers, contractors and upper management
• Active or Current Secret Clearance is required prior to start with the eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
• Technical Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college
• 9+ years technical systems engineering experience or demonstrated equivalent job experience OR 7+ years technical experience and a Master’s degree
• Active or Current Top Secret clearance
• FBM Program Knowledge and experience working with US Navy
• Resolving technical challenges requiring integration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with leading a team using JIRA and Confluence for technology maturation and insertion planning.
• Agile Practitioner (Scrum Master, Product Owner/Product Manager, etc.)
• Requirements definition and tool experience (i.e., Concept of Operations (CONOPs), requirements document, interface requirement drawings/documents, DOORS, etc.)
• Developing Statements of Work (SOW)
• Program and/or Project management experience
• Familiarity and implementation of digital transformation capabilities with DoD secure areas and networks
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tool experience (i.e., PTC Windchil/EPDM, Bentley ProjectWise, Autodesk Vault)
• MBSE/SysML experience (i.e., Cameo, MagicDraw)
• Lean Six Sigma Certified (Greenbelt) or Participation in
Structured Improvement Activities (SIA) or similar continuous improvement events
• Positive demeanor, accountable and responsible and able to work in a team-focused, dynamic environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
