Our Valley Forge Production team is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the team in the development and production of weapon systems, ground support equipment, and satellite electronic boxes.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
•Plan and oversee production projects and capital projects.
•Develop and maintain the production IMS, allocate resources, and assist with strategy development.
•Write proposals and develop project estimates.
•Perform other supporting duties as assigned by production team leadership.
•Some travel may be required.
•Able to support occasional weekend or off-hour support as needed to maintain production schedule compliance.

Typical Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.

Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related technical field.
•Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance (US citizenship required).
Desired Skills:
•Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and principles as well as work measurements and labor standards.
•Demonstrated Project Leadership.
•Demonstrated knowledge or experience with high-mix, low volume production operations.
•Experience with managing a project schedule.
•Cost Account Manager (CAM) Experience
•Experience writing Basis-of-Estimates (BOEs) for projecting cost and schedule for future Production programs.
•Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment.
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
•Demonstrated proficiency with MS office, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Active secret clearance or higher is strongly desired.
