Using the electromagnetic spectrum—signals such as radio, infrared, or radar— to sense, protect, and communicate. At the same time, EW can disrupt, deny and degrade the adversaries' ability to use these signals.

THE WORK
Lockheed Martin Corporation's Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) business area is in search of an experienced leader to join our Ground Cyber Electronic Warfare Integrated Engineering organization. As a member of the team, you can help us take on the world’s most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems. In this critical role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals, interact with internal stakeholders, and interface with external customers. The successful candidate will be dynamic, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of managing multiple efforts within the same timeframe.
As a Project Engineer Stf, you will:
- Coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
- Establish and manage cost baselines and Estimates at Completion (EAC), conduct Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis, headcount and staffing analysis, subcontractor analysis, risk analysis and mitigation solutions, and variance analysis.
- Manage control account performance, elevate concerns and issues where appropriate to program management and other impacted control account managers.
- Monitor all elements of cost through entire process, track EVM performance and provide monthly updates.
- Monitor weekly charging and identifying discrepancies.
- Identify risks and opportunities to the program Risk & Opportunity Control Board and implement approved mitigation plans.
- Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
- Ensure Estimates at Complete (EACs) for assigned Control Accounts are credible.
- Analyze and report variances (VARs) and proactively implement corrective action plans that address the root cause(s) of any issues.
- Support inputs for weekly and monthly reviews with Program Management.
- Generate Basis of Estimates (BOEs) in support of proposals and drive the submission of complete and compliant proposals.
- Communicate effectively in collaboration with team members and other internal and external stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering STEM field
- 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
- Security Clearance required Prior to Start: Secret
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Experience with project management lifecycle steps
- Experience in analyzing and assessing project decisions based on schedule, cost, or technical impacts.
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
- Cost Account Manager (CAM) certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a team environment.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to compile, prepare, and present information to management and customers and communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) to prepare reports, graphs, and visual presentation aids, perform measurements and interpret data.
- Experience in project execution or program management (or similar role), supporting programs achieve their cost, schedule, and technical goals.
- Experience in project engineering activities including budget planning, cost analysis, proposal development, schedule management, and risk and opportunity management.
- Familiarity with Agile software development process.
- Strong sense of follow-up and closure with strict attention to detail, quality, and whole system thinking.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
