Lockheed Martin Space has an opportunity for a dynamic, hardworking senior authority Program Manager who wants to join our mission. We’re looking for someone with passion and enthusiasm in model-based engineering, systems architecture, and modeling, requirements development and management, risk and opportunity management, needs identification, systems integration, and implementation!

The Deputy SEIT Manager for the Model Based Engineering Acceleration project will work with SEIT Manager to lead the joint E&T/BITEE Systems Engineering and Integration Team, including activity to develop and refine requirements and architecture to accelerate MBE for program insertion. The Deputy SEIT Manager will work collaboratively with the BITEE PM, E&T Deputy PM, Chief Engineer, and other project leads to ensure successful delivery of Systems Engineering products to the implementation teams. The Deputy SEIT Manager will also work with the E&T Engineering Discipline POCs, and the Operations Team POCs to capture their MBE needs.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide team direction, coordination and guidance to the MBE Acceleration cross-functional (E&T and BITEE) Systems Engineering Team
• Plan and deliver capability demonstrations in an agile cadence
• Responsible for orchestrating, building, delivering automated test plans and verification methods for requirement validation
• Interface with the MBE Development & Infrastructure Team and Implementation Team to provide architecture runway products for agile development and deployment.
• Coordinate with Engineering Discipline POC’s to capture Engineering needs for the MBE System, and Operations POC’s to define the Engineering to Operations MBE Interface
Basic Qualifications:
• Engineering or related degree
• Full Spectrum Leadership experience
• Experience successfully leading sophisticated systems engineering efforts within the cost and schedule constraints
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Experience developing and specifying architectures using Model-Based Systems Engineering practices.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret and SCI clearances
Desired Skills:
• Deep knowledge in the engineering skills used throughout the program lifecycle
• Experience developing enterprise architectures and System-of-Systems architectures.
• Ability to lead and influence teams of leaders to translate concepts and strategy into actions and results
• Experience running large teams supporting multiple concurrent efforts
• Experience leading engineering efforts in support of Digital Transformation or Model-Based Engineering activities
