Human Factors Engineer/User Experience Analyst

Description:As a Human Factors Engineer on the User Experience (UX) team, you will be part of Lockheed Martin’s exciting Business Transformation as the end-user advocate. You will be expected to apply knowledge of human factors engineering concepts to solve problems and support projects that are based on Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) products and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.

Candidates must have at least a Bachelors degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a human factors engineer performing User Centered Design activities including task analysis, requirements definition, use case analysis, persona development, user interface design, wireframing, prototyping, and recruiting/planning/conducting rapid iterative usability studies; or 3+ years professional experience with a Masters degree in Human Factors Engineering, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field.

This job will involve conducting quantitative and qualitative user research as well as analyzing and presenting findings/recommendations to Lockheed Martin internal business customers and technical teams.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience working on multidisciplinary teams and applying User Centered Design in an Agile environment.

Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Demonstrated experience in systems engineering, human systems integration processes, and human-automation interaction/human machine teaming is desired.

US Citizenship required.
Basic Qualifications:
Education
• 5+ years professional experience with a Bachelors degree in Human Factors Engineering, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction or related field;
• or 3+ years professional experience with a Masters degree in Human Factors Engineering, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field

Professional Experience
• Years of experience must be in a role as a Human Factors Engineer or User Experience Analyst performing User-Centered Design activities.
