The Engineering & Technology organization is a highly dynamic and growing organization that plays a vital role in providing mission-critical intelligence solutions by optimizing satellite constellations, processing data through its entire life cycle and developing reliable cutting-edge infrastructure for information dissemination across a global network and to a variety of programs.
You'll have an opportunity to work on world-class programs such as Orion, GPS, Commercial Vehicles, Deep Space Exploration, Classified Special Programs, and Communications Systems.
Within these Programs, you will participate in the design, development, verification and deployment of complex new systems. You will utilize your previous systems experience, and/or skills, to develop and maintain products. You will directly help establish the technical solution and overall system design for our country's most vital and complex Systems.


In this role you will:
Perform system hardware development for the P330 EX program including the design and implementation of hardware products.
Work in a team environment utilizing Hardware engineering methodologies and processes
Use your excellent communication skills to work across the Lockheed Martin organization and customer/user community to ensure consensus and understanding of solutions

Basic Qualifications:
o Satellite Ground Hardware development
o Subsystem analysis and design
o Experience with hardware drawings, specifications, and AutoCAD
o Problem solving and troubleshooting
o Detailed worker, capable of following written and oral instructions from engineering drawings and other inputs
Desired Skills:
• Experience in developing hardware including Chassis Design and Build, Cable Fabrication, Rack assembly and Cabling, power, cooling, servers, and networks
• Experience with production schedules and work plans
• Familiarity with cable/harness fabrication, manual soldering, test box layout (including drilling/punching boxes to accept connectors, test points, etc.) is desired.
• Knowledge and use of basic test equipment such as multimeters as well as basic AC/DC circuitry is preferred.
• Previous experience setting up maintenance work areas.
o Have a working knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and components
