Within the RMS C6ISR Division, we are seeking a motivated and experienced full stack engineer to join our team supporting the Wicked Crow program. Wicked Crow is a cutting-edge tech demonstration effort that spans multiple business areas of Lockheed Martin supporting a US Government customer. Wicked Crow offers software development opportunities across a wide range of domains, including command-and-control, orchestration and automation, infrastructure, algorithms, digital signal processing, software-defined radio, and infrastructure.
Qualified candidates will have experience in an agile development environment working with a cross-functional team to develop first party software and to integrate third party software for high performance, distributed systems-of-systems. They must be well-versed in DevSecOps tools and techniques, especially infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and CI/CD. The candidate should also have a passion for technology and a desire to work with like-minded individuals to tackle any engineering challenge, even in unfamiliar domains.
This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, but it is not required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience developing full stack software using a variety of languages, including: Java, C#, and/or Python
• Knowledge of modern DevSecOps tools and practices, including Kubernetes, Gitlab CI, Ansible
Desired Skills:
• Experience with C++, Javascript/Typescript/HTML/CSS, and SQL highly desirable
• Working knowledge of software-defined radio (SDR) frameworks and real-time systems that include a mixture of firmware, embedded, and traditional software applications
• Knowledge of OSA standards such as OMS/UCI, SOSA, JICD, CMOSS (in decreasing order of importance)
• Experience working with distributed development teams
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Experience in the RF (Radio Frequency), DSP (Digital Signal Processing), SDR (Software Defined Radio), and CEW (Cyber Electronic Warfare) domains
• Experience working with Linux OS, including basic system administration (emphasis on RHEL)
• Knowledge of networking including container / cluster / CNI networking
• Desire and ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies and domains
