Virtually every Space mission success starts with a strong foundation of facility infrastructure design, construction and execution management, which is performed risk free in support of business needs without interruption. As a Facilities Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to use your education and experience to take on interesting challenges and become an integral part of our team as we build new or redesign current, state of the art engineering facilities. We operate in a dynamic environment to stay ahead of facility infrastructure needs and construction project innovations. Such projects include anechoic & thermal vacuum chamber test areas, critical manufacturing & assembly areas, technology support operations centers and cutting-edge customer demonstration capabilities to name a few. In this role, you’ll use innovative approaches that will help facilitate our ability to achieve mission success.
Our facility in King of Prussia, PA has an immediate opportunity for a mid-career level Facilities Engineer to join our mission. Our King of Prussia team operates in a dynamic group environment with Design Engineers and Construction Managers collaborating to meet the changing needs of the business. In 2021, we will be responsible for over $15 million in project value. You will be challenged to utilize innovative project delivery techniques to meet aggressive program schedules and to implement value engineering and construction to maintain budgets in a highly competitive Defense Industry.
Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will…..
• From concept to construction closeout, serve as Project Manager for facilities related projects including infrastructure upgrades and space renovations
• Design and build state of the art facilities for innovation and technology
• Upgrade aging facilities while maintaining security and highly technical program operations
• Perform requirements gathering, conceptual estimates, design management, bid process and construction management
• Execute design tasks for in-house design projects in architectural, mechanical, electrical or civil disciplines.

• At least 7-9 years of relevant experience in Construction Management including cost estimating, scheduling, financial tracking and/or site supervision
• Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of facilities design and construction
• Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
• 9+ years of Construction Management preferred
• Design experience in an architectural, mechanical, electrical, or civil discipline
• Experience with ICD-705 SCIF construction
• Experience with data center design and construction
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
• Ability to utilize CAD design software to produce conceptual and construction drawing
• Strong focus on performance and delivering results with superior customer service
• Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and oversee multi-discipline facilities projects
• Experience in facilities operations and project cost savings
• Proven project management skills and strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work effectively with customers, staff and management at various levels and diverse populations
• Active TS/SCI clearance
